Do you have a broken electronic or appliance that needs to be fixed or your favourite piece of clothing needs some patching up? The Fixers are here to help. Sheridan is holding their second Repair Café on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Atrium of the Student Centre Building. They can fix anything from toasters to lamps to computers. All students and staff are welcome and it’s free!!!
The Fixers’ goal is to reduce waste and change the throw-away mindset. So don’t just throw away your appliances, electronics, or clothing that just needs a special tweak to make it right again; come on by and let the Fixers fix it for you.
Also, are you good with your hands and know how to fix things? The Fixers are looking for volunteers to help them out. If you think this is something you are interested in doing, please contact Wai Chu Cheng (Office of Sustainability) at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
